Columbia County EMS recently took delivery of a Zumro portable shelter for use at large-scale emergency incidents and public gatherings. The inflatable shelter is 21' long by 14.8' wide (floor area is 284 sq ft). It inflates in 90 seconds using an electric pump or SCBA air bottles. The shelter is climate controlled, using a 70,000 BTU heater or 12,000 BTU air conditioner and includes interior lighting.
