CFR Course Announced for Niverville
February 16, 2010
A Certified First Responder (CFR) course for original and refresher students begins Tuesday March 2, 6:30 pm, at the Niverville Fire Department. This course will be held on Tuesday nights (with some Saturday sessions). Pre-registration is required.

  • EMS to Discontinue Pre-hospital Blood Draws
    January 6, 2010
    Effective January 31, 2010 EMS Providers in the REMO region will no longer draw labs as part of an IV start. Hospitals will not restock blood tubes and should not accept EMS drawn bloods.

    The REMO Medical Advisory Committee has voted to require that all in-service ambulances carry equipment appropriate to defibrillate patients of all age groups and epinephrine autoinjectors. This policy becomes effective July 1, 2010.
