New EMS Commendation Program Honors Four



Certificates of Commendation were awarded to four individuals at the May 13, 2002 EMS Advisory Board Meeting. Southern Columbia Paramedic Mark Bedell and EMT Ira Brown were each presented a certificate and lapel pin for rescuing a woman who was trapped in her car that was sinking in a pond April 17th on Route 9 in Livingston. Columbia County 911 Dispatchers Brennan Keeler (11-64) and Kevin Johnson (11-73) were presented certificates and lapel pins for their work dispatching a structure fire at Barnwell Nursing Home in Valatie, April 8th.
